Melding together her passion for the industry, diverse experience, and mission to change the world using meaningful events La’Bonnae Kea started Vintage Socialite, LLC, an event management, consultation, and strategy firm. The team’s mission is to use technology and innovative meeting design to help companies, organizations, and brands advance organizational goals and drive business value through strategic, creative and unforgettable events.

La’Bonnae began her career in the event industry as a corporate event coordinator for the most visited third-party car shopping website, AutoTrader. She concluded her corporate legacy at Cox Automotive as an event manger managing over 25% of the brand’s sales and marketing event portfolio.  This portfolio included experiential brand activations, annual corporate meetings, charity fundraising season events, international sales incentive trips, customer appreciation experiences, national tradeshow participation, employee appreciation weeks, company milestone celebrations, and more. 

After manicuring her skills as a project manager, cross-functional team builder, and supplier manager, La’Bonnae set out to diversify her industry experience as a freelance event manager and producer.  She has executed components of large-scale productions for South by Southwest, American Society of Travel Advisors, Association of Women’s Health, Obstetrics, and Neonatal Nurses. She has designed, produced, and managed events for Sundance Film Festival, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and National Sales Network.  In conjunction with her event management and production experience, La’Bonnae has spearheaded event programming and design consultations with Chick-Fil-A, American Cancer Society, and event portfolio development with the National Center for Civil and Human Right’s partner, Arc of Justice Institute. 

 La’Bonnae is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) with a Certificate in Meeting Management from University of Georgia. La’Bonnae also holds a BFA in Speech Communication with and emphasis in Public Relations from Valdosta State University, a MS in Leadership Development from Duquesne University and is a candidate for the covet Project Management Professional designation this fall. 

Dubbed by industry peers and clients as an official event nerd, La’Bonnae holds membership in Meeting Professionals International, teaches Event Management at Kennesaw State University, and coaches event professionals pursuing continuing education and credentials.
